About Ipic Corporate Services
Who We Are
Ipic Corporate Services is an Africa-focused corporate services firm — delivering entity management, regulatory compliance, accounting, tax, payroll, and fiduciary services across the continent. Africa is not a market we serve from a distance. It is our home.
Africa-First. On the Ground. Built for the Continent.
Ipic Corporate Services is built differently. Our expertise, our leadership, and our on-the-ground network are fully dedicated to Africa. We operate across multiple African markets through trusted local specialists — giving our clients genuine in-market expertise without the overhead of managing multiple relationships. One team. One point of contact. The whole continent.
Our Three Pillars
Africa-First
Our entire operating model is designed around Africa. We do not divide our attention across multiple continents — Africa is where we invest, where we hire, and where we deliver.
On the Ground
We have local specialists embedded across multiple African markets — giving our clients genuine in-market expertise and regulatory knowledge in every jurisdiction that matters to them.
Pan-African in Reach
Our ambition is the entire continent — from Morocco to Mozambique, from Senegal to Tanzania. We are building the network and relationships to serve businesses across all 54 African nations.
Our Story
Ipic Corporate Services was founded by professionals who spent their careers working across African markets and recognised a consistent challenge: international businesses struggling to operate across Africa’s 54 jurisdictions without access to truly local, reliable, in country corporate expertise.
We built Ipic Corporate Services to be different, not a global firm with an “Africa desk”, but a corporate services provider built specifically for the operational, regulatory, and administrative realities of the African continent. Every decision we make, from how we structure our teams to the clients we choose to work with, is guided by one conviction: Africa deserves corporate services delivered by people who understand it deeply.
Part of Something Larger
Ipic Corporate Services is part of the Ipic Group, a diversified South African investment and property group founded by Rian Maartens in 2004. Since 1982, the Maartens family has been active in commercial property investment and development, building a portfolio grounded in disciplined capital allocation, long term thinking, and sustainable value creation.
The Group’s investment philosophy is influenced by the principles of Warren Buffett and Benjamin Graham, focusing on compounding sustainable wealth with integrity. This same philosophy underpins Ipic Corporate Services, where we compound trust, relationships, and expertise across Africa, one market at a time.
Ipic Corporate Services is guided by a clear mission and long term vision to deliver trusted corporate services across Africa.
Our Mission
To be Africa's most trusted corporate services partner — delivering expert compliance, entity management, and administrative services with precision, integrity, and genuine care for our clients' success across the continent.
Our Vision
A continent where the quality of corporate infrastructure is never a constraint on African ambition — where businesses that start in Africa can scale to continental reach with the same confidence as those starting outside of Africa.
The principles that guide how we operate and serve our clients across Africa.
Integrity
We do what we say we will do. We are transparent about our capabilities and our limitations. We never accept instructions that conflict with our ethical standards — and we will exit a client relationship rather than compromise our values.
Excellence
We hold ourselves to the highest professional standards. We recruit qualified specialists in every market, invest continuously in our knowledge and systems, and measure ourselves by client outcomes.
Accountability
Every client file has a named owner. Every deadline has a named person responsible. We do not hide behind process or anonymity — our clients have direct access to the person responsible for their work.
Pan African Commitment
We do not pick and choose within Africa. We are committed to the entire continent — investing in our network, our knowledge, and our relationships across all African regions, because every African market deserves access to world-class corporate services.
African-Led Expertise
We believe the best corporate services for Africa are delivered by Africans. We invest in developing African talent and transferring knowledge — because we are building for the long term.
Practical Integrity in a Complex Environment
Doing business in Africa sometimes means encountering environments that test ethical boundaries. We do not compromise — ever. We will not facilitate bribery or arrangements designed to circumvent regulatory requirements, regardless of commercial pressure.
Contribution to African Development
We believe business in Africa carries a responsibility to contribute to the continent's development — through our employment practices, our preference for African-owned partners, and our commitment to transparent, responsible business that strengthens African institutions.
Our Commitment to Responsible Business
As a firm operating at the heart of African corporate structures, we recognise the responsibility that carries — to our clients, our people, the markets we operate in, and the continent. Our ESG commitments are embedded in how we run our business and which clients and structures we are willing to support.
We are committed to reducing the environmental footprint of our operations. We operate a paperless-first policy, minimise unnecessary travel, and are working towards formal carbon footprint measurement and reduction targets.
We are committed to being a positive force in the communities where our people live and work. We apply a living wage commitment across all directly employed staff, support mentorship and professional development for junior staff, actively pursue gender balance at senior levels, and allocate paid volunteering days for community engagement in each office.
Strong governance is not just something we provide for clients — it is something we practice ourselves. Our internal framework includes independent board oversight, annual independent audit of our AML programme, a whistleblower policy with an independent reporting channel, and annual publication of our responsibility report.
We apply a rigorous client acceptance process that goes beyond minimum regulatory requirements. We decline instructions where we have concerns about the purpose of a structure — regardless of its technical legality. We do not administer structures designed to facilitate tax evasion, money laundering, or sanctions circumvention.
